Lapeer County Press, October 27, 1955, Mrs. Hildred Mae Miles, 48, died Saturday morning in Hurley Hospital, Flint, following a four-day illness. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Lester Smith and son Funeral Home, with the Rev. David Evans, pastor of the First Baptist Church, officiating. Burial ws in the Imlay City Township Cemetery. As Hildred Bagley she was born Nov. 30, 1906, in Oakland County. She was married to William C. Miles in 1926. He died Oct. 2, 1955. She was a member of the Baptist Church and the Imlay City Chapter of Rebekahs. Surviving are her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Bagley, Imlay City; two daughters, Mrs. Joanne Beach and mrs. Beverly Smith, both of Detroit; a son, William C. Miles Jr. with the US Airforce, Texas; a sister, Mrs.Doris Nemeth, Detroit; a brother, Hamilton Bagley, Attica, and a granddaughter.).
